Any squad meeting any officer, or unit lead by officer, will stand at attention when the highest ranking officer salutes or responds to the salute of the other officer. Only the LEADER of the squad does the saluting and speaking. If you are alone, always salute a soldier of higher rank, the one with the lowest rank salutes first and doesn't speak until the salute is returned. A salute is only needed when reporting or meeting said person in question of higher rank, and generally when you are dismissed.
-
A proper salute will entitle the soldier to raise a flat palm, tilted at roughly 45 degrees to the right side of his forehead, holding a second or two, and then lowering it downwards the easiest way possible.
-
Officers of any MILITARY unit serving Kaldor will be saluted.
-
Always follow the chain of command, show the proper respect to your superiors at all times, and uphold the Chelmarch name in high honors.
-
Maintain your armaments and equipment in peak condition, keep your quarters always tidy, and train vigorously and sustain a healthy and fit body.
-
Headgear should always be removed when indoors unless duty calls for it to be on.
-
Sheath weapons unless duty calls for it.

The Army of the Chelmarch has developed a system to award the soldiers for bravery, service, and duty.

Ring of Courage: Awarded to soldiers who have shown extraordinary courage in the face of danger.
Prisoners and Loot
Prisoners are enemies that have surrendered or have been captured during one's duty. They should be stripped of arms and taken to the fief's cell's when it's appropriate. If the enemy is gargun only capture ones which appear of major importance, kill the rest, they have no sense of honor. All armaments collected from prisoners should be handed over to the Chelmarch Quartermaster, or make sure he is to collect them. Any miscellaneous items such as coins and jewelry are to be handed over to the squad leader, who will then hand it over to their superiors and so forth. The squad receives a tenth of the loot captured, which is divided among the soldiers fairly.
