One of the elder races, the Sindarin are often known as "elves" by humans. The Sindarin are said to look similar to humans, although smaller and more beautiful. Stories are told of Sindarin living for years in a human town or village without the townspeople even being aware of their true nature.
Sindarin are immortal, although they can be killed by violent means. Their immortality gives them a strange, distant view of things. They are known to contemplate decisions and philosophical questions for many years. This has the effect of making them seem somewhat deliberate and sad at times. The Sindarin are aware that their time on this world has passed, and are slowly emigrating to another pristine world, what they refer to as the "Blessed Realm."
The Sindarin dwell in Evael; a beautiful forest in south central Hârn. They do not permit intruders to enter their forest. People wishing to travel to the Sindarin Kingdom must go by ship to theport town of Ulshaven. But even if one somehow makes it to the port, there is still little chance for being allowed entrance if one is not Sindarin or an approved trader.
Most Sindarin choose not to interact with humankind, and for good reason. With the exception of the Jarin, most humans treat Sindarin with suspicion, jealousy, and fear. Sindarin also tend to avoid contact with Khuzdul due to the general feelings Khuzdul have against Sindarin.
The Sindarin, like the Khuzdul, worship Siem exclusively. The "Blessed Realm" that Sindarin speak of is believed to be the current residence of this god.
As a player race, the Sindarin are restricted to special application only.
