Part II - Faith Compatibility Chart
(Note: Clerical Impact refers to the impact if a member of the clergy is being wed)
"C"ompatible Union - Likely to meet with little or no social resistance, however churches may be confused if one is marrying outside their faith, but will not openly oppose.
Clerical Impact: None if same faith, church may question the cleric's dedication if other.
"Q"uestionable Union - Likely to meet with some social resistance, church may refuse to perform the ceremony and/or openly discourage the union.
Clerical Impact: The cleric's advancement is likely to be stalled
"I"ncompatible Union - Likely to meet strong social resistance, church will refuse to perform ceremony, secular authorities may not recognize validity of the union (sharing of status/station, claims to heritable titles and/or inheritances and property after death may all fall into question)
Clerical Impact: The cleric may find themselves excommunicated *
* - Excommunication will result in revocation of clerical privilege and loss of circle and rituals

Special Notes:
The chart shows the end result only. For example, while the Halean temple may view it acceptable to marry a wealthy, influential Laranian, the Laranian temple does not wish its followers under the spell of the whore of heaven and so would greatly oppose the union, the end result is therefore "Incompatible" even though the Halean temple might well have consented to it for financial/influence reasons.
Where marriages are questionable it will generally be the grooms' church that handles the wedding if indeed one is even considered.
Navehans are not present on the chart as the lives they live are generally lies.
Marriage is arranged for the purpose of the guise. A Navehan follower marries who they
are ordered to, to further the goals of the Naveh Church.
In realms where their religion is outlawed Morgathians often operate under cover though it is unlikely they would willingly marry a detestable faith unless it were to serve some higher purpose for their church.
For Sarajinians marriage is merely a formality. Warriors of this faith have the right to take warbrides,
pay for wives, or be given wives. Having a wife is more prestige then romantic commitment. A
Sarajin follower who is male and warrior may claim any woman of any religion as wife. While, a woman
follower of Sarajin may only marry one of her faith.
