The Ivinians are relative newcomers to Hârn. They are a race f seafaring Northmen who invaded northern Hârn less than hundred years ago. The Ivinians tend to be tall, with light hair and eyes. They are warlike, taking to the sport of "viking" for loot and pillage. They are also, surprisingly, extremely shrewd and capable traders; their dragonships ply every portion of the known world. As this description suggests, the Ivinians are quite similar to the Vikings of Terra.
Currently, Ivinians are concentrated in the Kingdom of Orbaal in the north of Hârn, but they may be encountered over much of the island. Ivinians dislike Jarin and consider them to be worthless scum who have nofighting abilities and deserve to be oppressed.
Ivinians almost exclusively worship Sarajin, a god of battlelust. Sarajinian clerics play an integral part within Ivinian communities, and the Sarajinian religion can be seen in almost every aspect of Ivinian society.
